Order information and privacy

This page explains how the order form and private order receipt use your information.

Google address suggestions

When Google suggestions are enabled, opening the delivery form loads Google's browser software. Text you enter in the address search is sent to Google to find matching US addresses. Choosing a suggestion requests its address components from Google. Google may receive browser and network information through those requests.

You can use the street, apartment/unit, city, state and ZIP fields without using the search. This address-search feature does not send edits in those manual fields to Google. Suggestions do not verify whether J2 delivers to an address.

Google's handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. See also the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Your pickup order

Placing a pickup order sends your contact details and order contents to J2, where approved staff can see them and manage your order. Pickup does not ask for your delivery address or use Google address suggestions.

Your browser keeps an unfinished submission so you can retry it without creating a duplicate, and a private receipt reference for checking your order. Keep access to this browser private on shared devices. Clearing browser storage can remove your access to that receipt; it does not cancel an order already received by J2.

Pay cash when you collect your pickup order. This checkout does not collect card details or enroll you in marketing. Keep the order confirmation open or return in the same browser to check whether staff have accepted your order and when it is ready. Delivery ordering is unavailable until card payments are connected.
